Welcome to your First Judging Panel. First let me introduce you guys with our judges for this cycle.
First, Ayubot MK II, the first fashion robot ever invented in the fashion world. You'll noticed it through the way she critiqued you guys this cycle.
Second is Matt Bomer. Actor from TV Show, White Collar. Good with sense of style. Definitely an eye candy for us through this cycle
Last but not least, myself Philip. Probably the most popular Asian American Male Supermodel in the fashion industry.
This week, you need to submit a photo to reflect your status or clique during high school. Let's start the judging now
Alex "Jock"
Philip: I love this photo. Your physique looked great. I love the concept. I believe the athleticism in this photo. Very sexy and modelesque as well. Good job!!!

Matt: Just the first round and you're already making things hot and sweaty. I definitely get your "clique" in this photo and I like the masculinity you exude in it. I do have a problem with your eyes squinting while looking away, but that's pretty much my only problem with this photo. Otherwise, great start to the competition.

Philip: Same with Ayu-bot, I found it hard to relate it to the student body president. But you do have a lot of potential, Ashton. I like the styling but don't think it's very convincing enough.
Matt: Yeah, I'm going to have to echo the other judges in saying that I don't read your "clique" too well in this photo. I like your styling in this photo and it's an interesting shot, I just don't think it fits your chosen theme well enough. A studio shot for this round actually isn't detrimental at all. It looks like a yearbook photo, so at least the :high school" part of the theme is being touched upon there.
Chris "School Reporter"
Philip: I really like this. I definitely can see a school reporter here. You look like a student with a big dream here which is totally relate to your choice of clique. Cute styling too. A good start from you

I love the way you're styled and posed for this and it fits your theme perfectly. You also have a studio shot which makes it look like your yearbook photo, so I'm liking that, too.

Matt: Well, your photo and your clique match up well and it's styled nicely. The pose works for the clique chosen, but as a modeling pose, I'm not completely sold on it. I would have liked to have seen you have a pose that fit both aspects well. Still, I'm the judge that puts heavy stock into theme incorporation, so I still like your shot. I would just say that next week, step it up a bit in the modeling department to match your theme strength. Good first outing, though.

Philip: I love the styling. You look more like a bad boy for me but I still see the weirdo element in your photo. I really like your eyes. Great connection. Overall, good job!!

Matt: That's the Jared Leto I know. Your personal styling and your pose fits your clique, but like Ayubot said, the setting doesn't really fit. Also, like Philip said, this possibly could have been better if you labeled it "bad boy" but "Weirdo" is fine enough. I would say that in the future, watch your wording. Especially in rounds where you're given a broad theme and asked to choose something specific to be your shot. Since in weeks like that, it's basically a "choose your theme" week, we have to put a lot of stock into what you chose and how closely it matches to that. This still matches Weirdo, but would have been a stronger Bad Boy. Still, it's a good shot and I'm sure you'll be fine.

Matt: You two definitely look like the power couple at school in this shot. Neither one of you is really taking any focus away from the other and this just seems like a 50/50 shot. You nailed the theme pretty well this week, but your modeling could have been better. This just looks like a generic couple taking a random picture together. However, it's still a good shot, fine to lead with, and you hit the theme really well, which is important to me.
Josh "Good Boy"
Philip: Yup, I do see a good boy here, but my problem is there's nothing really memorable about this photo. It came across as boring a little bit. But you do have so much potential. I guess I'm more a fan of Bad Josh than a Good Josh. You look good though. Overall, I want to see more from you

Matt: I love this shot. I can't say that I'm 100% in love with it for the theme, but I just love this shot as a stand-alone picture. I just want to give you a hug. This is a nice, sensitive shot of you and that sensitivity could be viewed as being in the "Good Guy" light. So, theme connection is there, but it could be stronger. I like that this shot is in sepia as it adds to the melancholy feel of the photo and the vibe that you're giving off. As much as I like this photo, I do have to keep in mind the level that it connects to the theme. I'm sure you'll be fine, but try to have your future photos connect to the theme a bit better.

Matt: I'm not British and "cheeky" is not in my normal vocabulary, but there really is no other word to describe this photo other than "cheeky". Great connection to the theme, but the impact of the photo isn't that strong. It won't be a memorable one, but it'll be one that gets you through the week. There's good energy coming from the photo, but that's also in large part due to the female models in the photo. Next time, I'd like to see you have the lion's share of the impact in your photo. Still, good solid start.

Philip: I don't have any idea what Ayu-Bot are trying to say, but you already submitted your photo and you can't change once you submitted the photo. You need to re-upload that photo again. I saw your first photo earlier. Screencaps are very risky. Try to avoid that. We're into the photo which taken from a photoshoot. I think you try to show us the bad ass side of you from your photo, but it didn't really translate well into the photo.
Matt: As a rule of thumb, I'd say save the screenshots and production stills and only use them as a last resort. I'm fine with them and don't knock off points because they are screenshots or production stills, but in most cases, you'll find that they don't have the same level of quality as an actual modeling shot. That said, I understand that this is your first time and so this first round is a crash course for you. I hope you'll be able to carry on in the competition and have another chance since this round will help you get a better idea of what we're looking for in this game.

Philip: Definitely a jock there. Great body, I can feel the athleticism in this photo. I'm not so sure with the black and white. I think it would look better in color because you have such a great skin tone. Overall, I'm still impressed with you this week
Matt: Ok, so you nailed the theme 100% in the sense that you're obviously supposed to be a jock in the photo. I just have a difficult time with this photo because it just looks so generic. You look so clean and perfect in it. Since you're a jock this round, I would have liked to have seen you exude a bit more raw masculinity in this shot. Possibly be a bit dirtier. This just looks too much like a male model pretending to be a jock than it does an actual jock. It probably doesn't help that you're not the only model to choose "Jock" this round and the other model who chose it really delivered on that raw masculine look.
