Welcome to your Fourth Judging Session
Matt didn't feel so good but he already left his ranking and Ayu-bot needs to be repair. But lucky us, we have a new judge, Darren this week.
Let's start our judging session for this week.
Alex 'Romance'
Philip: Gorgeous, Beautiful, Sexy.. I really like this. I think the chemistry was there. The setting really help this photo a lot. I really love this, Alex!! Welcome Back!!!
Darren: I like this photo. It's not my favorite but its one of the ones i like and fit the genre. I can sense the cheese romance story from this. I do wish you were looking either at her or to the camera or even had the girl holding your waist.
Ashton 'Crime'
Darren: When i think of crime i think of guns... I also know that the godfather played around with shadows and light it would have been super cool if you some how made this a bit more darker and then compared it to the godfather.
But overall this photo is just okay to me. I can sense your being interrogated for something which is crime like.
Philip: This photo really creep me out. I love the dramatic vibe in this photo. Honestly I saw this photo as more to 'Mystery' than 'Crime', but I still love this photo.
Chris 'Sex Comedy'
Darren: This was very creative. It makes me laugh a lot. I can totally see it being a cover of a DVD
Philip: Your description alone just made me laugh and the photo. Darren was right. Very creative, unique and crazy. Love it!!!
Henry 'Period'
Darren: This is a very creative photo and i can see the similarities to King Henry. The one thing i have a problem with are your shoulders, they seem to be in an awkward position. Overall though this is by far my favorite photo.
Philip: Except, the shoulder, everything is a perfection from me. I love the setting and the styling very much. I think you nailed it!!!
Jared L 'Epic'
Darren: This screams Action/War film. I'm not really sure what Epic is. I'm not really familiar with it. Just the way the photo is it's my favorite but because i'm confused i have no idea what i'm actually looking at in Epic.
Philip: Darren, wanna learn about Epic Movie? Watch this
Back to your photo, I think this photo has more potential. You look great but it just felt so empty, especially the background. Maybe if you have something on the background like the army, it would help you better.
Jared P 'Horror'
Philip: Even though this is a screencap, I can felt the scary vibe from this photo. You and your partner look very intense. It managed to make me wondering, why were you guys so scared in the photo. Overall, it was an okay photo because when it came to screencap, the main problem from it was the modeling value.
Darren: I can totally see the horror in this but the lack of modelness is a turn off.
Josh 'Western'
Darren: When i think of westerns i think of deserts, horses and back in the day. I can sort of get the vibe here but if i had to pick a genre i'd pick Modern day Cowboy flick.
Philip: I'm not really familiar with Western Movie but I think you nailed it for the styling part. My problem is with your pose. I think you were quite stiff in this photo and you didn't look comfortable. Overall, it's a good photo
Ryan 'Sci-Fi'
Darren: This is something new and different from you. I love how the focus is all on you and the background is blurred.
Philip: OMG Ryan!!! I fuckin' love it. I didn't expect this from you. When I saw Sci-Fi, I was like 'Oh No!!' but this photo really prove me wrong. I love everything about this photo. I'm so happy for you this week. Great job!!!
Taylor 'Adventure'
Darren: I dont think just because there is nature in the background and your clothes are dirty that it counts as an adventure. Adventures tell a story and to me this photo doesn't really tell much of a story.
I will give you points on the model aspect of the photo and also its a tad blurry
Philip: From the modeling aspect, I think you did great. You look very modelesque in this photo. But 'Adventure'? I'm not fully convinced with that genre. I don't really felt the 'Adventure' in this photo.
